Welcome to Saquella! We are an Italian Bistro, Espresso Bar, European Bakery, Restaurant, and Tapas Bar. Since 1856, the Saquella family from Pescara, Abruzzi, Italy, has been roasting one of the most unique boutique coffees in the world. Our Baristas are trained to prepare Cappuccinos like you see in the movies. At Saquella Cafe, we make everything fresh in house, from braising our own Roast Beef, roasting our vegetable Antipasti, and making our own pesto. Our Menu has a “Healthy European” twist to it, designed to arouse your taste buds in a reasonably priced unique culinary experience where each dish is made to order. We use fresh ingredients from local purveyors and are a proud “No Fry Zone”; nothing on our menu is fried. We serve an amazing Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, all accompanied with our freshly baked breads, as well as a pleasing variety of wine and beer.
Our famous Pastry Chef, Lowil Stoller, bakes our unique Pastries, Cakes, Cookies and Quiches fresh daily. Lowil’s expertise is in the making of Tiramisu, Cannoli, Fruit Tarts, and Flaky Napoleons. Her Espresso Chocolate Chip Cookies were voted the best by the Sun Sentinel. In the Bakery, we have a motto that in order to make a desert, it does not have to be loaded with sugar, and one should enjoy the natural flavors of the highest quality ingredients we use. Nothing can compare to a light, flaky, fresh Plum and Almond pastry, or a Chocolate Almond & Fresh Blackberry Croissant.
